As ancient and treasured as the Spirit, consider the skills of the Glass Maker, harnessing fire and flame and practicing an ancient art perfected deep in the Swedish pine forest. From the world famous Transjö Hytta glass foundry comes a unique vessel befitting the delicate and unique contents it holds.

From the cellars of Maison Tiffon comes a harmony of blends aged for an average of 85 years but with infusions dating back to 1870. The result, Et No 1, is a celebration of the patience and delicate touch of the Master Blender.

Folke Andersson

Master Blender Folke Andersson has over 35 years experience in the cognac and spirits branch. With Et No 1, three rare cognacs have been blended, creating a spirit golden amber in colour with a full-bodied, well-matured nose and apricot, sweet toffee, vanilla and liquorice aromas.

Göran Wärff

Since 1965, Göran Wärff has worked for iconic Swedish glassmaker Kosta Boda and his pieces can be found in museums and galleries across the world. The vessel he has created for Et No 1 typifies his desire to convey light, warmth and sensuality in the objects he creates.

Transjö Hytta

Transjö Hytta is the smallest glass foundry in Sweden´s ‘Crystal Kingdom’. Situated in an idyllic loaction on the banks of the Lyckeby River, it has become world renowned as a laboratory for glass and a place where creativity flourishes. Artist from many countries find their way to this treasure hidden in the Swedish forests and many great collaborations and objects of beauty, including the Et No 1 vessel, have their origins here.

Maison Tiffon

Cognac house Maison Tiffon was founded by Mederic Tiffon in the town of Jamac in 1875. Through a twist of fate, the house was taken over by a Norwegian, Sverre Braastad and Cognac Tiffon is still run by Sverre’s descendants. From their vineyards in the cognac districts Grande Champagne and Fins Bois and distilleries in Jarnac and Chateau de Triac, Maison Tiffon continues to produce cognac of the highest quality to this day.
